Artist's Statement
We love pottery - the process, the results, the endless possibilities. We are committed. We work hard at it, and play with it. There are myriad paths to follow, and we are enjoying the journey.
Ed took his first pottery classes in the 70's, loved it, and resumed in 1999 after a career in the high tech industry. Gail has created a variety of southwestern-inspired art forms, and also began her journey with pottery in 1999. Together they are fully committed to the joy of creating fine pottery. Ed and Gail are currently teaching adult beginning wheel classes at Creative Clay Pottery and Studios and are also on the advisory board at the studio. They make all the raku pieces for the raku parties, hosted by Ramon. Ed is also on the board of directors with the Clay Connection, the local pottery guild. |
